From Ohio all the way to majestic Canaves Oia at Santorini for this ultra-chic wedding! Desiree and Jason picked the world’s favourite destination to celebrate the beginning of their new life.
Amongst the closest family and friends, on a very warm and bright August day when Santorini was looking as prominent as ever, we had the honour to capture this intimate wedding celebration.
White was evident all around us, from the stunning bridal gown from Pronovias, to the whitewashed walls of Canaves Oia in the room where Desiree was getting day for her big day. Bright light washed every detail and created impeccable imagery for yet another time. Clean lines, white flowers and a touch of olive were the elements incorporated in the wedding decorations to remind all of the beautiful country and bring on the island vibes for this celebration.
Against the deepest blue of the Aegean Sea, Desiree and Jason exchanged vows of eternal love and devotion. There was so much emotion, so much love and tears of joy during this matrimony that our lenses captured for them to cherish. An intimate first look for them both; on the steps leading to a magnificent view of Oia, we witnessed tears of joy and love when Jason saw his bride dressed in white.
There is something so special and sacred in the first look; it always gets us by surprise and we are happy to capture it on film! Following on from their emotional ceremony, the couple danced their first dance as Mr and Mrs in the most breathtaking balcony of Santorini. And who wouldn’t want to cut their cake with the views of the Aegean under the most well-known sunset? We sure would!
