When we met Hannah and Rotam we knew that their wedding day would be amazing by the way they were gazing into each other’s eyes. They traveled from Germany to celebrate their nuptials in the most dreamy destination wedding in the Athenian Riviera. A wedding by the sea was really important to them as they both adore summer and Greece and spent lots of their summers wandering around the greek islands.
Their day was filled in classic wedding glamour with elegant details and a tear-filled ceremony by the sea. Hannah wanted a sweet and romantic wedding day that she and Rostam would dream throughout the years. The atmosphere had to be just perfect, the colors soft and delicate, and each detail aiming to elegance above all.

Hannah’s wedding dress, a true bombshell type, made her look fabulous! You can tell a lot about a bride from what she chooses to wear on her wedding day! Rostam chose a dapper sky blue suit, perfect for a summer wedding and together they looked as if they stepped out of the Golden Globes red carpet! Hanna and Rostam said their “I do”s under a beautiful wedding arch. Our favorite part was the heartwarming vows they said to each other. It’s very inspiring for us to hear our couples’ promises. They promised to take care of each other in good and bad, saving each other’s a seat on every dinner table and celebrate their days together in the best way they can. Tears and confetti later the most glorious wedding dinner and festivities were in order! Dare we say that they’re wedding candy bar looked perfectly designed by GK Events?
We couldn’t wait to steal the couple away to take their wedding portraits. Specifically, Island Art and Taste has the cutest private beach where Hannah and Rostam could catch their breath and enjoy some warm moments of wedding bliss and delicious kisses. The sea in the background, the warm-toned rocks, the soft sand contributed to the most beautiful wedding portraits! We are huge believers in giving our couples the time to relax and feel comfortable together and in front of our cameras. Many people don’t realize that these moments right after a wedding are precious for the bride and groom. It is important to soak in their wedding vows, the looks of each other, enjoy some time together, spend some time away from their guests and family and let everything sink in.
We wanted to bring the sea breeze into our photographs and give them the summery atmosphere we were enjoying in real life. Hannah had the warmest smile for Rostam and he could barely take his eyes away from her. These small details that indicate how in love our couples are what we love capturing. Wedding photography gets timeless, moments are preserved forever.
