On a warm summer day, we found ourselves yet again to our favourite place in the world: Santorini. As a Santorini wedding photographer, there is no better place to be in June- the sun is shining, the waves gently crush to the sore and the beauty of the island unfolds before your eyes.
Kim and Kevin’s intimate wedding was the reason behind our trip to the island at the time. An all-white romantic wedding in Santorini that had it all with the help of an amazing wedding planner duo – Julia and Evita.
Kim and Kevin flew in with the most beloved friends and family to celebrate their new beginning as a married couple. Preparations started early in the morning when light was flooding the room and making everything so bright and intense that we could not but document the sheer morning delight. Kevin chose a white suit very fit for the summer weather on the island. He took his moment to read the vows he prepared before walking to the ceremony site.
Kim and the girls were all preparing shipping bubbles and exchanging gifts. The lovely bride bought a pair of matching earrings and necklaces all bridesmaids wore during the wedding. The girls helped her put on the stunning embroidered gown with crystals and doing her make up to make sure she looked absolutely impeccable for her big day. Adding final touches like her perfume, made us wonder how much true love and support there was in between these women and all that they have shared together up to this date.
Moving away towards the ceremony site, we were once again in awe by the views of the secluded location. Clear views to the Aegean, an exclusive balcony and an all-white decoration turned the location in a very elegant venue. Pops of greenery and white flowers were a very sleek touch by wedding planners Julia and Evita who made sure to bring Kim’s vision to life. Take a look at the bridesmaids’ cool flower bouquet ring and you will understand the vibe of this wedding party!
Following the ceremony, we took the newly Mr. and Mrs. for the most wanted couple’s session over sunset. And this is when the most magic imagery happens! The sky was changing colours from orange to purple, and our couple was taking in the moments as a newly married couple. Kim’s veil was wrapping them while they kissed thanks to the light summer breeze and we were able to capture magic happening!
Photographing in Santorini never gets old because this island has so much beauty that we will always need to capture. This all-white romantic event could not end without an all-white party! Crystal champagne glasses used for guests to find their tables was a funny touch to the wedding, much appreciated by the guests. White flower compositions embellishing the dinner tables and lots of candles made a very warm ambience. The party started as soon as Kim and Kevin cut their wedding cake and had their first romantic dance. We are so grateful we have been part of this romantic love affair and we have been there to capture all the big and little moments making this day special for these two.
