In Magnolia Rouge’s best of 2019: Our Tuscany Editorial
To shine your brightest light is to be who you truly are. ―
AS SEEN ON
The previous year has been a great one for Les Anagnou. We got to travel, meet new people, and enjoy what we do a little more than usual. Today, we are more than excited to announce that one of our images has been in fact Magnolia Rouge’s top image for 2019!
Earlier this year we were asked by CHLOE + MINT from the US to collaborate for an editorial shoot in Tuscany, inspired by the minimalism and elegance of the Tuscan land and the calm organic colors of its flora.
We had the most amazing team of vendors! The stationery was perfectly minimal and delicate, the dresses so ethereal and flowy, the flowers in perfect harmony with the landscape. The villa highlighted perfectly the aura of our editorial. It was a stone mansion amongst olive groves and a vineyard with Brunello grapes. It was truly a romantic landscape perfect for our organic, minimal shooting.
Tuscany must be one of our favorite locations in the world. Who doesn’t love it? It’s romantic and scenic, the perfect canvas for a fine art wedding inspiration shoot inspired by the minimalism of the Tuscan land. We are stunned by the natural beauty of the surroundings every time we are going back and can never deny its charm for a wedding day! This was our first editorial in Tuscany and we went back to capture some more of the land’s beauty! We can say for sure that all our Tuscany editorials and weddings have an unparalleled elegance, proof that Italy is the best country to have your dream wedding.
For this particular editorial, we were honored to be in the top selection of vendors for 2019 of Magnolia Rouge, one of the most elite and refined wedding blogs out there with an eye for delicate fine art weddings with character and flair. We couldn’t be happier to have contributed the image that got the most likes at Magnolia Rouge’s feed for the year 2020, proving that Tuscany has the best aura and light for wedding photography.
We simply loved the muted earthy tones of the area surrounding Villa Montanare. Olive leaves and golden details gave our shoot a subtle yet luxurious vibe. One thing we loved? The element of water in our images that were calming to the eye, soothing for the senses while being very visually dynamic. We shed flowers in the pool and merged our model creating beautiful and forward-thinking images that highlighted the minimal and refined aesthetics.
Our precious silk dresses embodied the carelessness of the Tuscan summer and walking barefoot in the olive groves at night while reading a love letter under the starlight. We wanted our portraits to be very emotional, very refined, filled with the warm sunlight of Tuscany and the feeling of love. The subtle melancholy of our portraits and the ethereal beauty of our model created a truly inspiring result.
We simply can’t express how happy we are to be featured in Magnolia Rouge’s top vendors of the year. It is truly inspiring to work with people who think alike, love beauty in the same way and express their feelings in such an artistic manner. We can’t wait for all of 2020’s beautiful portraiture, dreamy new locations, all the Tuscan trips and doing what we love the most; making moments last forever.
