Hannah and Yoni’s Mykonos wedding had it all: white washed houses, the turquoise waters from the Aegean Sea and lots of love all around. Choosing a destination as stunning as a Greek Island, and especially Mykonos, the queen of Cyclades is bound to elevate your big day celebrations!
As our bride mentioned, when you are in love with the Greek Islands there is no debate in deciding where to tie the knot. Picture perfect locations, the brightest sun you can get all against the backdrop of the Aegean. What more is there to ask for?
That is why when Yoni proposed to Hannah during their annual trip, they instantly knew where they would exchange vows of eternal love and devotion! So, they flew to Mykonos, the island of windmills, with their families and closest friends and had the best wedding on a warm June day!
Island vibes where already present from their invitation suite and guest knew to pack their sunglasses in advance. Hannah’s mother was the mastermind behind these minimal yet chic decorations. You cannot have a Greek based wedding and not have olive playing a significant part in your wedding style. Tying in white button roses and lots of gypsophilia made this celebration a true ode to the essence of all refined and truly Greek elements. Hannah’s vision was brought to life and her wedding was indeed a Grecian chic celebration!
The Greek Orthodox ceremony was a very special moment for these two. The calm ambience created by the hymns, the sun setting during the vow exchange and the little chapel in the middle of the island all made up for a very intimate and moving ceremony. Capturing authentic emotions is always an honour when couples choose us to tell their love stories.
Hannah was ethereal on their big day, so refined and so radiant. She even designed her own jewelry (check out her work here) and kept it all minimal and sleek in true Grecian style!
And where better to end your wedding celebrations than Alemagou? Sea wood, earthy tones, embellished with olives and gyphophilia to add the island vibes and still keep it chic.
