It’s been some time now,we know.We know that we have been way behind our blog posts, way behind updating to what we have been up to and what we have in the makings for this year.
We are delighted, we have managed to incorporate film in every single wedding last year (more about this in a following post), we have been traveling to various different places and it was the time of our lives!!We have been connecting to so many people last year, people that share the same love towards this medium that is called film and the thing here is that we have found our voice.
Finding your voice.
In a world full of digital medium, everyone doing more less the same things we are trying out a different path for about a year and so now.We have been introducing film in every single wedding that we take, not because it’s a trend right now but firstly this is where we come from. For many, many years we had be shooting film and of course we know all the pros and cons ( does terrible things to our bank account :)).If there had to be a single answer to what we love best when taking out our film cameras is the connection.
The most important thing in our books is our couples.Hands down.We encourage them to work with us in a friendly level, we see ourselves nothing more that one of the guests on that day who try to envision the couple’s love, the love of friends and family. You see, by simply not being able to constantly check the back of our cameras, we are able to connect with our couples, to really feel (and literally see) what’s happening around us, to be able to capture on film at the end of the day all the love.
A wedding in Santorini
This is a wedding from last year that we never managed to publish on our blog.Of course Santorini island is one of the most breathtaking spots around the world for a couple to tie the knot. Our minds are always on this island and it absolutely makes us dance in our chairs every time we book work there.
