Magnolia Rouge feature | A Summer Wedding Inspiration from Tuscany
“I paint because the spirits whisper madly inside my head.”
-Doménikos Theotokópoulos, (also known as El Greco).
Last year we had the incredible opportunity to travel to Italy and spend two days creating with the amazingly talented Jenny from Chloe and Mint and sweet Christy from Honeycomb Affairs at our beloved Villa Montanare. Today, we’re thrilled to share that our work has been featured by Magnolia Rouge.
What are we talking about? Keep on reading..
Our creative souls and our love for Tuscany had us thinking about putting together an editorial that provides inspiration to so many of you thinking about your destination wedding. And why not Tuscany? It has so much to offer and we admit it- we have a soft spot for this countryside, the noble villas and the olive groves.
We partnered with Chloe and Mint and together we created a Tuscan inspired wedding theme. We found the perfect location in Villa Montanare which is surrounded by olive groves and gives that elegant yet laid back vibe for dinner and receptions.
Drawing inspiration from our surroundings, we worked with earthy tones palette which was reflected in all of our editorial elements: the beautiful stationery from Paper Ocelot, to the simple yet natural floral arrangements by Honeycomb Affairs and of course to that ethereal dress by Gossamer. We cannot express our gratitude to the entire team of vendors who came together to help bring our vision to life.
Our idea behind this creative approach lingers on the beauty of Italy and the choice of Tuscany as a wedding destination. A place that has it all: beautiful landscape, countryside villas, delicious food and the perfect light.
When your guests arrive in Tuscany you would want them to see, feel and taste all that this land has to offer. So, why not organize your wedding at a spectacular villa and make them feel at home? Keeping your centerpieces minimal but incorporating venue elements like olives and little flowers in earthy tones will set the mood for your wedding reception.
Our bridal inspiration came from the quintessential model that embedded everything we had in our mind. We played with light and figures, and show how beauty can be expressed in different perspectives.
Our experience of authentic Tuscany is still fresh in our memories and we hope that you enjoy this editorial as much as we enjoyed when making it. Tell us in the comments what thing inspired you the most for your wedding from this Tuscan concept!
